Ron Short and The Possum Playboys are keeping alive and vibrant the tradition of bands that once traveled the back-roads of Appalachia and America, playing music that pleased and satisfied the eternal human longing for dance and fun.

Featuring fiddle and “Cajun” accordion, the Playboys play a lively mix of Appalachian/country/western swing/rock-a-hillbilly music with a “bayou flair” that sets feet tapping, hips swinging, and people singing! While the musical traditions may be old, the songs and interpretations are fresh and new!!

"Robinella's voice is so versatile - so utterly loose, carefree, and expressive no matter what the material is - that she glides into every tune..." - iTunes review

Robinella’s career began with a sort of luck that rarely comes to most artists within their lifetime. What started out as a simple husband-and-wife duo fresh out of college quickly grew to a full-fledged band that blended Bluegrass, Country and Jazz. The combination of Robinella's honey-sweet vocals with violin, mandolin, bass, drums and piano captivated audiences, thus creating the ever popular Robinella & the CC Stringband.

Jess Clemons is a touring singer/songwriter based in Burlington, VT and Nantucket, MA. She is the recent winner of the 2008 Burlington Acoustic Singer/Songwriter Contest, the 2nd place winner in the Flat Rock Music Festival's Songwriter Contest (Sept. 2007), and this fall toured with the cross-Canada Babes For Breasts Tour, a non-profit collective of female singer/songwriters using their voices to raise funds and bring awareness about breast cancer across Canada. She has had her music featured on several compilations, including this year's MVY Radio's "Fresh Produce Vol. 5" along with the likes of Carley Simon and Tift Merritt.

Multi-instrumentalist Matt Flinner has made a career out of playing acoustic music in new ways. Starting out as a banjo prodigy who was playing bluegrass festivals before he entered his teens, Flinner later took up the mandolin, won the banjo contest at Winfield Kansas in 1990, and took the mandolin award there the following year. Flinner’s decision to focus on eight-stringed instruments, especially the mandolin, was primarily a function of opportunity.

Grace Adele ~ Singer/songwriter/dancer/Performer~ Quite simply one of the best voices to be heard in music today, Grace Adele has mixed elements of pop, country, Americana, rock and retro to create NEVER LOST, her zensounds CD debut. Silky and sweet; sultry and strong, her vocals caress every word in these songs of love and loss; longing and laughter, with melodies that are both instantly memorable and decidedly fresh.

The Farewell Drifters create harmonic roots music that draws influence from the traditions of folk, bluegrass, film scores, 60's revolutionary pop, and their young Nashville peers. They have been delighting audiences everywhere from MerleFest to intimate listening rooms with their dynamic performances, and their album “Yellow Tag Mondays” debuted at number 10 on the Billboard Bluegrass chart.
